The Myler Flat Shank with Mullen Barrel Low Port (MB 06) is a level 2.5 piece and boasts a 7″ flat shank made from stainless steel, in addition to a mouthpiece that is produced from polished sweet iron, which oxidizes when it comes into contact with moisture in the horse’s mouth, releasing a sweet taste. It also possesses a copper inlay placed on the interior section of the bars to encourage salivation. This bit provides you with an alternative to a traditional solid bar mullen mouthpiece, featuring a unique curved shape that fits the tongue a lot more comfortably. This is a 5″ bit and the 1/4″ port allows the rider to provide the horse with tongue relief.
