Description
The Myler 5″ HBT Shank with Wide Barrel Comfort Snaffle (MB 02) is a Level 1 Myler bit and is produced from stainless steel. When the rider engages the reins, the mouthpiece will rotate fully onto the tongue of the horse, putting pressure on this area of its mouth. This is done to both teach the horse to give to the bit and to break at the poll. The mouthpiece is produced from polished sweet iron, which oxidizes when it comes into contact with moisture in the horse’s mouth, releasing a sweet taste. It also possesses a copper inlay placed on the interior section of the bars to encourage salivation. The bars also feature a pronounced curve which makes swallowing a lot more comfortable. It is available in three different sizes: 4.75″, 5″ and 5.5″.
