Description
A Myler alternative to the traditional mullen, the MB 36 has a wide low port that allows the tongue to pass under it comfortably. With a port that’s 1″ high and tilted forward at a 45º angle, this allows just enough room for the horse’s tongue to elevate slightly and swallow, but not high enough for palate pressure. Pressure is applied primarily to the bars and lip, but also applies tongue pressure because of the forward tilt when the reins are engaged. It is available in three standard sizes, which are 5″, 5.25″ and 5.5″.
