Description
The Myler Flat Shank with a Mullen Triple Barrel Mouthpiece (MB 32-3) forms part of Myler’s Level 2 range and boasts a 7″ flat shank made from stainless steel, in addition to a mouthpiece that is produced from polished sweet iron, which oxidizes when it comes into contact with moisture in the horse’s mouth, releasing a sweet taste. It also possesses a copper inlay placed on the interior section of the bars to encourage salivation. In the center of the mouthpiece there are 3 barrels that enable the horse to lift its tongue, making swallowing easier, thus providing greater flexibility than a standard solid mullen mouthpiece. This bit is available in the following sizes: 4.75″ and 5″.
