Description
The Myler Western Dee with 2 Hooks and Low Narrow Ported Barrel Mouthpiece (MB 43LP) is a Level 2-3 Myler bit, and is produced from stainless steel. Measuring 3″, the circular rings have a fixed attachment to the mouthpiece and hooks at the top and bottom that can be used to attach the reins and headstall. This bit is used predominately in Western riding disciplines and there is no option to attach a curb strap or chain. This is the 5″ bit.
The mouthpiece is produced from polished sweet iron, which oxidizes when it comes into contact with moisture in the horse’s mouth, releasing a sweet taste. It also possesses a copper inlay placed on the interior section of the bars to encourage salivation.
This bit has been crafted according to the renowned Myler philosophy, incorporating ergonomic design elements to facilitate communication between horse and rider and minimize distractions that can hinder performance.
