Description
The Myler 5″ HBT Shank with Comfort Snaffle and Copper Roller (MB 03) is a Level 1 Myler bit and is produced from stainless steel. When the rider engages the reins, the mouthpiece will rotate fully onto the tongue of the horse, putting pressure on this area of its mouth. This is done to both teach the horse to give to the bit and to break at the poll. The mouthpiece is produced from polished sweet iron, which oxidizes when it comes into contact with moisture in the horse’s mouth, releasing a sweet taste. It also possesses a copper inlay placed on the interior section of the bars to encourage salivation. The 7/16″ bars feature a pronounced curve which makes swallowing a lot more comfortable and the copper roller in the center of the mouthpiece aids in calming horses prone to restlessness or nerves. It comes in two different sizes: 4.75″ and 5″.
